Researching Tort Law in Australia: Emerging Voices, Fresh Perspectives
To watch this past event, click play on the video below:
Hosted by CLARS, this Monash Law Faculty event aims to bring together new and emerging voices in Australian tort law scholarship. It accommodates a distinguished international scholar, Professor Claudio Michelon (University of Edinburgh), who will present and open for discussion a working research paper on corrective justice tort theory.
As a workshop, the event seeks to facilitate conversation between a range of new and emerging scholarly voices in the field of tort law research. The voices are deliberately diverse. An exciting range of interdisciplinary perspectives will be brought to bear, extending beyond theory to include doctrinal, historical and practical perspectives.
In addition to sharing and discussing new research ideas and projects, the workshop has a more fundamental purpose - to build new ties and strengthen existing connections between emerging tort scholars who teach and research in different Australian universities and in different jurisdictions.
As a webinar viewer, you will have a chance to send your questions to our distinguished scholars throughout the workshop.
