Elida K. Nogoibaeva is the head of Law Division at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. Elida teaches courses on public international law, international human rights law, international humanitarian law, and comparative law issues. Elida has authored and co-authored numerous articles for law reviews and books. She received her law degree with honors from the Kyrgyz State University Law School. Elida has previously worked as a professor and a private lawyer. She has been a visiting professor at Rutgers University School of Law, in Rutgers, New Jersey, USA, and at Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
