Judicial College of Victoria

The Judicial College of Victoria (JCV) provides education and resources to judges, magistrates, and VCAT members which enable Victoria’s judicial officers to stay up to date with developments in the law and social issues, and to build and maintain the skills they require to rigorously perform their roles. Publications produced by the JCV are written primarily for the use of judicial officers but are also publicly available and are an important resource for all court users and the community more broadly.

Students will work closely with the Judicial Information Services team on preparing County Court sentencing summaries for inclusion in the College’s sentencing database.

Access to relevant documents and materials, as well as video meetings with relevant JCV staff, will be facilitated via Microsoft Teams throughout the placement.

Students will be located at Monash Law Clinics, Level 11, 555 Lonsdale St, Melbourne.
