Description of Organisation
VicWind brings together communities, businesses and individuals who support more wind energy for Victoria.
VicWind aims to become Victoria's leading community-based organisation promoting clean, wind energy and help us cut local pollution and greenhouse emissions. It is a non-profit company, registered in Castlemaine. VicWind works directly with communities in wind districts as well as online.
VicWind's mandate is to improve the environment, through education about the benefits of wind power. We will work on the ground in wind districts and online.
Number of legal positions within organisation: Vic Wind is staffed by professionals who offer their services voluntarily.
