What are some of the challenges you have faced in your career?

The nature of my line of work is such that the branch (location) I work at constantly changes. Thus, building relationships with staff members can sometimes be a challenge.

How did you deal with these challenges?

Perseverance – building connections with staff is fundamental in ensuring that objectives are met – you just have to keep pushing on.

What advice do you have for Law students and lawyers wanting to pursue a career path focusing on positive social change?

Embrace people. Embrace the opportunities you are given and be compassionate.

What do you find most rewarding in your work?

New people, seeing them overcome their own challenges
