Australian Animal Law Teaching Workshop 2015
Australian Animal Law Teaching Workshop 2015
The Monash Centre for Commercial Law and Regulatory Studies (CLARS) at Monash University and Voiceless, the animal protection institute were pleased to host the Australian Animal Law Teaching Workshop.
The Australian Animal Law Teaching Workshop was a full-day workshop that brought together animal law teachers and researchers to share insights around best practice animal law pedagogy and current issues in animal law research.
The workshop was dedicated to the dual themes of 'building animal law pedagogy and curriculum' and 'the challenges of intensive farming', with panels on issues across these broad themes.
The 2015 Workshop followed on from the success of a first event of its kind held at Bond University in 2014 and aimed to continue to build networks and connectivity among animal law teachers and researchers.
The Workshop was a vegan event and was supported by Voiceless, the animal protection institute and the Monash Centre for Commercial Law and Regulatory Studies (CLARS), Faculty of Law, Monash University.
