Course Re-accreditation

Re-accreditation is the process through which Academic Board renews the accreditation of an existing course after the course has completed a comprehensive review.

In order to make the decision of re-accrediting a course Academic Board will consider the following:

  • the conclusions and recommendations from the independent review panel and the faculty’s response.
  • the course meets the minimum academic standards set by the University in sections 2.2 and 2.6 of the Course Accreditation Procedure.

Applications for re-accreditation must be submitted through the curriculum management system (Courseloop) in a timely manner so that Academic Board can re-accredit the course before the current accreditation period expires.

When applying for re-accreditation section 6 of the Course Accreditation Procedure must be followed.
