Panel Review

Review panel members will receive the self review document in May 2003, ask for further documentation if necessary, and then convene for the review visit scheduled to occur 15-17 July 2003. During the visit the panel will meet with and interview stakeholders, tour facilities and present preliminary findings.

As part of the review process, the panel may arrange interviews with key stakeholders (for example members of the academic and student communities) to verify statements made in the self review document. These will be planned in consultation with the University Librarian and arranged by the panel secretary.

Review Panel Membership

The review panel is selected by the University Librarian and approved by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. (Academic and Planning). Selection of panel members is based on experience and expertise with regard to the terms of reference. The panel will comprise:

Review Panel Report

The review panel secretary, working closely with the chair, will draft the review panel report, which the University Librarian will receive within two months of the panel visit (i.e. during September 2003).

The review panel report will be between 5,000 -7,000 words, with up to 10 additional pages of appendices, and with an executive summary up to three pages. Major headings will follow the terms of reference and the self review document, with one or two paragraphs for each finding. A copy of the review panel report will be lodged with CHEQ.
