Vera Bradford Music Collection

Vera Bradford, pianist and pupil of Percy Grainger, founded the Frankston Music Society during the time she lived on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. The Vera Bradford Music Collection contains items donated by Vera from her own collection. The collection also contains donations from Peninsula music groups, bands of the defence forces and other materials purchased by Monash University Library.

The collection includes:

  • books on the history of music
  • music scores and librettos
  • sheet music and orchestral sets of sheet music

Borrowing

Items in the collection may be borrowed by local music groups who have arranged a library membership. Some items may be borrowed by Monash students.
