CAUL / ASA library fellowships

Applications for the 2016 Library Fellowships, offered by Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL) and the Australian Society of Authors (ASA), were open until 14 June 2016, but have now closed.

Monash University Library is one of twelve host university libraries that takes part in this fellowships scheme. The CAUL/ASA fellowship provides $10,000 in non-salary funding, to support creative projects that would utilise at least one of the host university libraries' special collections. The grants can be used for travel, accommodation and other project related expenses.

Applications are invited from artists, authors, scholars and researchers from Australia. Monash University students and staff can apply under this scheme to visit special collections at other institutions.

The fellowships, supported by the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund, are designed to showcase the richness of special collections in Australian university libraries by providing Australian authors, artists, scholars and researchers with an opportunity to work on projects that will benefit from concentrated access to these collections.
