Hargrave-Andrew is a flagship modern facility, providing a spacious research and study environment equipped with printing and recently upgraded PCs. Extensive research skills development programs to strengthen the learning, teaching and research activities of staff and students at the University's Clayton campus are available. The library has collection strengths in:

- medicine, nursing and health sciences
The Hargrave-Andrew Library also has an extensive Map Collection and a major standards collection.

Programs and drop-in sessions
Learning skills drop-in sessions, open to all students, run from week 2 and through to week 12 at the Hargrave-Andrew Library. No bookings are required.

Information research and learning skills programs may be presented by Library staff as part of the academic programs for some units. General programs are also offered at the Hargrave-Andrew Library. Check for programs held outside normal unit class times at the Hargrave-Andrew Library and register online using the Library class booking system via my.monash, selecting Hargrave-Andrew in the Campus dropdown list.
