Hargrave-Andrew provides scholarly resources, study facilities, and research skills development programs to strengthen the learning, teaching and research activities of staff and students at the University's Clayton campus.
For 2019, a large new comfortable and modern learning area has been created for students on the second floor, which greatly enhances the student facilities available at the Hargrave-Andrew Library.
The library has collection strengths in:
- biological and physical sciences
- information technology
- medicine, nursing and health sciences
The Hargrave-Andrew Library also has an extensive Map Collection.
In addition, all Monash students and staff have access to extensive electronic resources via Search and physical items.

Programs and drop-in sessions
Librarians and Learning Skills Advisers are available for advice at the Research and Learning point in the Hargrave-Andrew Library from week 2 through to week 12. No bookings are required. For scheduled times visit the Programs and drop-ins page.
Research and learning skills programs may be presented by Library staff as part of the academic programs for some units. General programs are also offered at the Hargrave-Andrew Library. Check for programs held outside normal unit class times at the Hargrave-Andrew Library and register online using the Library class booking system via my.monash, selecting Hargrave-Andrew in the Campus dropdown list.
