LabArchives releases New HTML Office Document Editor - June 24, 2016

LabArchives replaced the Java-based office document editor with a new and improved HTML office document editor. This new HTML editor is more secure as all documents remain on the LabArchives servers at all times. If you are currently using the ZoHo HTML editor, you will not experience a change in your document editor.

LabArchives Releases New Commenting Alerts Feature - June 24, 2016

This NEW feature enables users to choose to receive emails when comments are made within their Notebooks. Users who select this option will receive an immediate email with comments made on data with which they have been involved. The email includes a link to reply to the comment, which routes the user via a secure login to the comment.

Now, users have the option to search a single notebook, selected notebooks, or all of the notebooks they have access to.

LabArchives Releases The First ‪#‎Accessibility‬ Compliant Electronic Laboratory Notebook - February 12, 2016

LabArchives® the leading electronic laboratory notebook (‪#‎ELN‬), today announced compliance with major accessibility standards. LabArchives products are in use by more than than 100,000 scientists and science students users to store, organize, share, and publish their laboratory data.

LabArchives Professional and Classroom editions have been enhanced to comply with the following Web accessibility standards and regulations:
- ‪#‎Section508‬ of the US Rehabilitation Act
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (‪#‎ADA‬)
- Level A and Level AA of the ‪#‎WAI‬ Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0)

In addition to the specific accessibility standards above, the LabArchives platform is built to support a wide range of browsers and devices in use researchers. In particular,LabArchives has utilized features of HTML5 and WIA-ARIA to provide additional support for LabArchives users of assistive technology. WAI-ARIA (Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite) defines a way to make Web content and Web applications more accessible to people with disabilities. The result is the only widely distributed ELN with accessibility enabled capabilities - users with accessibility requirements are now able to use LabArchives with screen readers, voice input devices, magnification technology and other WAI-ARIA compliant technologies.

LabArchives Widget Update – January 8, 2016

Freezer Box Copy / Paste Enhancement
The Freezer Box Widget has been enhanced to allow for the contents of a pre-existing cell to be pasted into a new cell. This will now save you time from having to manually input cell contents.
