Monash University Library’s Special Collections are an integral part of the Library, spanning across several genres and both physical and digital mediums.

The Library has a strong commitment to digitising this unique, valuable material to help increase discoverability, access, and reuse. The digitised materials are made available through Monash Collections Online, where most items are free to download and reuse unless otherwise stated.

Monash Collections Online is also home to virtual exhibitions of our Special Collections material. These exhibitions are curated by our Special Collection Librarians and may accompany physical exhibitions on display in the Library.
