What I enjoy most about what I do is going beyond what is expected, designing spaces that don’t simply fit the brief. A point of difference for me is that I engage in multi-disciplinary practice, creating spaces that engage people with place through diverse design. Working in the industry with clients is rewarding, but creating interactive art installations allows me to explore new and exciting design trajectories.
The Interior Architecture degree at Monash played a significant role in determining how I respond to design. It informed how I practice in the industry, not just responding to the functional aspects of briefs but overlaying a conceptual reinvigoration.
