An important part of my job involves developing and extending my own creative research practice. I also enjoy teaching in both studio and theoretical contexts. I use what I have learnt in art schools over the years to help my students find their own unique approach to making fashion.
The Monash PhD gave me the space and time to advance my painting practice as well as develop my writing skills. The fine art department is a transformative place to explore various material techniques alongside conceptual and critical thinking.
