I love what I do. Every day, I’m presented with a variety of design challenges. To solve them successfully, I need to be in touch with world trends and up-to-date with material properties and production processes.
The best part of my job is seeing and holding the actual product you have spent months developing. I also love the collaborative nature of design – different projects allow you to work with people with various skills sets and experiences. I even get to work with some big name brands!
I found the Industrial Design program to be challenging, but in a good way – it drove my desire to look at the world and think analytically about solving problems. The lecturers really encouraged me to develop solutions through ideation, experimentation, and prototyping. I was exposed to the global world of design and was encouraged to make my own mark. The four years completing my degree was one of the most diverse, challenging and productive times in my life.
