Ricardo Dutra Goncalves
Ricardo is a social systems designer and action researcher working in diverse global contexts, including Brazil, Australia, Germany, India, Mexico and the United States.
Working at the intersections of design, learning, and systems change, Ricardo currently leads an action research initiative at the Presencing Institute, developing research protocols through embodied learning. Previous awards include the Grand Prize Winner of The New Challenge (The New School), and a finalist nomination in the 2017 World Changing Ideas Award, by Fast Company.
Ricardo holds a MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design, New York. His PhD research within WonderLab investigates the relationship of pre-verbal sensing and transformative learning.
