Dr Tanya Davison
Tanya Davison is a psychologist who conducts applied research in improving health outcomes across multiple settings and systems. She currently leads a team of social and behavioural scientists at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service dedicated to ensuring the health and wellbeing of blood donors and safeguarding the blood supply in Australia. She also leads an NHMRC-funded research project evaluating an innovative psychological program that targets the high prevalence of depression among older adults living in residential aged care. Tanya has published over 70 papers and book chapters and received over $4 million in research funding to support her research. She is currently involved in collaborative studies with MADA that explore the interface between design, psychology, and health outcomes.
