MADA provides an extensive selection of audio-visual equipment to staff and students. This equipment accommodates film, photography, sound recording (on location and in a sound studio), lighting, presentations, installations, VR/360 video production, VR playback, motion capture, studio photography and green screen. All equipment is up to date and meticulously maintained. The equipment is intended to be used for teaching and learning purposes only and is organised with different levels of access depending on enrolled units and teaching criteria. MADA offers several video and photography units where specific equipment is required to complete assignments. This equipment is made available to these students during semester.
Students and staff are required to have previous experience with equipment and studio spaces as some of the processes and equipment in the studios requires specialist knowledge. Students must be enrolled in or have previously undertaken a relevant elective or class to access these resources.
To view, book and borrow equipment you can request to be added to the Cheqroom booking system by filling out the form in the links below. You will then receive an email invitation and link to set up an account, after which you will be able to view available equipment and to make bookings.
