Wearable Activism

Join us as emerging Interior Architects from Monash University reflect on their recent experience of designing and presenting a series of wearable activist costumes at Parliament House Steps.

The collective have been developing their awareness of critical issues surrounding Australia's National Identity Crisis. As a group they designed and made costume 'letters' that 'spelled out' themes discussed such as 'Fair Go?' 'Culture?' and 'Are You One Of Them?'...

The project has been supported by Monash University Art Design & Architecture (MADA), the Immigration Museum and convened by MADA's Dr Matthew Bird, Erin Ender & Nikhila Madabhushi.

Join us on Wednesday 1 November to share in the development and outcomes of this remarkable project.
