An exhibition of works by artists from the Iltja Ntjarra / Many Hands Art Centre in Alice Springs, working with MADA Senior Lecturer Dr Tom Nicholson.

Artists: Myra Ah Chee, Benita Clements, Tiara Doolan, Kathleen France, Noreen Hudson, Clara Inkamala, Dellina Inkamala, Kathy Inkamala, Reinhold Inkamala, Vanessa Inkamala, Ricky Connick Jakamara, Lenie Namatjira, Gloria Pannka, Hubert Pareroultja, Ivy Pareroultja, Mervyn Rubuntja, Betty Wheeler, Marcus Wheeler

Many of the artists are direct descendants of Albert Namatjira and Nicholson has returned to the families, photographs by Rex Battarbee, and possibly Albert Namatjira, taken during the time the two artists spent together in Western Arrernte country in the 1930s.

The artists are using the photographs as primary source material to create new visions of Country.
