Open House Melbourne: MADA Workshops and SensiLab
Over 220 buildings around Melbourne will open their doors on 28 + 29 July 2018, including Monash University / MADA!
(Note: This event focusses on the design of Monash University / MADA buildings and their surrounding landscapes. Monash University’s Open Day – where you can learn about our courses and careers they can lead to – takes place the following weekend, 5 August.)
On Saturday 28 July, stop by for a tour of the newly-renovated MADA Workshop and SensiLab spaces. A comprehensive redevelopment of these spaces was undertaken in 2017 to deliver enhanced teaching, learning and research environments including cutting-edge robotics, modelling and visualisation equipment. Designed by architects NMBW and Studio Roland Snooks, these new environments offer flexible indoor/outdoor work, study and research spaces that readily extend into adjacent ‘working courtyards’ and landscapes.
Tours of other areas on campus will be running simultaneously. For more information, including tour times, visit the Open House Melbourne website at: https://www.openhousemelbourne.org/melbourne/buildings/monash-art-design-and-architecture-workshops-and-sensilab
