The Portraits of Change exhibition connects young people from Australia, Bangladesh and China through positive-themed photographic storytelling around climate change and environmental issues.
Discover powerful and moving photo-stories and videos created by youth participants across the three countries who are taking inspiring local action in the face of environmental impacts.
Contribute your own message in response, or a photo-story showing environmental action in your own life or community.
Opening celebration
Wednesday, 6pm: Opening night celebration for the Portraits of Change exhibition! Delicious food, drinks and Bangladeshi cultural performances.
Environmental photo and project workshops
Thursday, 5.30–7pm & Sunday, 1-2.30pm: Come learn how to make your own environmental photo-stories that can feature in the Portraits of Change project! No experience necessary, just an interest in environment and photography.
Artist talk and tour
Saturday, 1pm: Unearth the personal stories behind the photographs in this intimate tour of the Portraits of Change exhibition led by founder Michael Chew.
