The Little Food Festival
Fed Square presents The Little Food Festival in partnership with the Sandro Demaio Foundation, Monash University and City of Melbourne.
It’s still happening, folks! Join us on 30 September for a vibrant and immersive online celebration of all things food and fun, jam-packed with educational videos, DIY activities and interactive content that the kids will love.
With a spotlight on health, sustainability and community, the 2020 Little Food Festival will showcase a bunch of live activities – from lunchtime cooking to crafternoon – as well as a cracking line-up of cameo appearances from sustainability superstars Bee Healthy, Sage Garden, Oz Harvest, Honey Fingers, Lentil As Anything, Beci Orpin, Stephanie Alexander, Costa Georgiadis, Julia Ostro and Pawa Foods!
Registration is free. Sign up before 30 September and we’ll send you a downloadable activity booklet so that the little ones can get prepped for a day of food and fun, hosted by the much-loved Alice Zaslavsky.
Festival coordination: Associate Professor Deana Leahy, Faculty of Education and Warren Taylor, Monash Art Design and Architecture.
Additional thanks to staff, students and alumni from the Faculty of Education, Monash Art, Design and Architecture, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and Library.
