The exhibition, Light, Colour, Humanity – The Legacy of Alastair Swayn is curated by colour and combines the three elements:

LIGHT: Photographic images taken by John Gollings AO of significant projects by the late Canberra-based architect and designer, Alastair Swayn AO.

COLOUR: Australian designed objects from the Ian Wong Collection.

HUMANITY: A film and narrative text that focusses on humanity-centred design.

Along with some of Australia’s best functional design objects, Canberra-centric objects include the iconic F!NK jug designed and manufactured by the late Robert Foster and the loved and loathed yellow stack hat designed by Bryon Fitzpatrick.

An exciting program of augmented reality installations in Civic Square, floor talks, and film screenings will be delivered during Enlighten Festival.

An exhibition curated by Ian Wong from Monash University and presented through the Alastair Swayn Foundation 2023 Legacy Showcase.
