Study: the new bicycles

Field work in the Mobility Design Lab has revealed that there are bicycle types not represented in AS2890.3. This document provides information about these new vehicles.

Anyone designing for bicycles needs to know what to expect. New vehicle forms are appearing and they have different characteristics to existing bicycles.

Practitioners using the current form of AS2890.3 will find that the following bicycle types are commonly found in the field, and not yet listed in the standard. This dataset aims to address this gap until such time as the standard can be updated.
