I am interested in the power of the grid within our every day life, it is a structure that supports our way of living, yet also lies beneath us; reinforcing the ground we stand on. The grid stands to create order; it determines the way we move around a space. As a seemingly cold and lifeless structure, the grid also allows for imperfections, through the movement of people with in it, interactions and gestures.

There is life within the grid; shy organic gestures of people, clash with the severity and precision of the grid format, city streets and the ever-present right angle
