Made in response to a story about a sheep farmer who, after delivering a stillborn lamb, loses his memory completely. The sheep farmer stands in a paddock, with no comprehension of time or place, and all he keeps asking is:
"Is it cricket season or footy season?"
Then Daddy Takes His Place in an Australian Landscape structurally resists forming a singular narrative to instead take shape through a series of filmed actions that fold and unfold the story to consider what are its conditions? And what rests on the inside, outside and at the edges of its understanding.
