Queer Ecologies is a seasonal intervention that promotes travelistic adventures to experience, exchange and encounter recreational sexual cultures within a safe space. Queer Ecologies allows LGBTIQ tourists to discover climatic destinations around Australia and explore and experiment by participating in the programs which are equipped for many varieties of eco-erotic play. The programs are specifically designed to interact with the climate and what climatic conditions are produced within the local landscape. The hydrochloric cycle of H2O is a major influence on the project, as each site revolves around water. Site Lake Hillier has become a major focus on initiating empowerment through an experimental journey of body rituals and sexual encounters. This project aims to support the growth of organisms in the natural environment without disrupting the landscape, with the intention of developing a deeper ecological hedonism through erotic agency.
