Many years ago I read something along the lines of: ‘I don’t want to miss any beautiful things simply because I was never told they were beautiful.’ I don’t know where I read it or even how was worded exactly, but it has become a core value of my artistic practice and my everyday life. Photography has become a way for me to say ‘Look at this thing I saw. Isn’t it strange? Isn’t it funny? Can you see how beautiful it is?’
