Dorota Bacal received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Applied Physics Engineering. She is currently undertaking a doctoral course at Monash University, investigating emerging photovoltaic technologies.
Dorota is attending COP24 to learn more about the context of global climate action and to understand how best her research, that of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science and Monash University more broadly, can be utilised in delivering large scale global impacts. She is focussed on understanding the business and the communication sides of climate action. COP24 offers an opportunity to learn from those leading these global activities. She will focus her activities both on engaging with other researchers at the cutting edge of photovoltaic developments and also with industry and financial leaders shaping how these technologies will be deployed.
