Sanjna Ullal

Sanjna is a high achieving postgraduate student in the Master of Environment and Sustainability at Monash University, specialising in Environmental Security or the protection of the earth's life support systems. She has previous professional experience working in outreach and communications for a company dealing in Carbon Offsets and Community Development Projects. She was also the head of external relations at an NGO that worked to fight food waste in India. During her career at Monash, she has contributed to the UNDP project exploring water quality and public health in Sri Lanka and led student initiatives.

Sanjna will represent youth and the youth voice at COP24. She is passionate about using her strong research and leadership skills, and diverse experience, to further understand sustainable behavior change and through inclusive and participatory practice ultimately contribute to building low carbon sustainable communities in developing nations.
