Remy Shergill

Remy is a sustainability professional who is dedicated to improving public understanding climate change through the work of the Monash Climate Change Communication Research Hub. Remy is the Project Manager of Changing Climates, a science communication initiative in community newspapers delivering climate science to over a million Melburnians. Remy holds a Master of Environment and Sustainability at Monash University, specialising in Environmental Security, and a Bachelor of Science at Macquarie University, majoring in Biomolecular Sciences and Human Biology.

At COP25, Remy is eager to profile the suite of science communication initiatives being undertaken at the Hub and share lessons learnt with other science communication professionals. She is hoping this first-hand experience will inform her work in communicating the multifaceted global challenges of climate change to local audiences. This is her first COP and she looks forward to fostering international partnerships to collaborate on best practice communication strategies worldwide.
