Patricia is an academic in Nursing and Midwifery where she teaches global health. She also researches climate and health and is currently undertaking a PhD investigating the health impacts of climate-related migration in the Global South. Trish has extensive clinical experience and qualifications in emergency nursing, health professional education, health promotion and international public health. Trish is on the Board of Directors of Medecins Sans Frontieres, Australia and is a health author for the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) GEO-6 Report. Trish has been active in mitigation in the health sector and has worked towards integrating environmental sustainability into the undergraduate curriculum at Monash to improve the sustainability literacy of nurses and midwives.
