Aneta Podkalicka

Aneta is a cultural and media researcher, dedicated to collaborative, interdisciplinary academic work that engages communities and industry. She has researched in the area of social inclusion through media-led education and in relation to economic and environmental sustainability. Aneta is a Chief Investigator on a project funded by the Collaborative Research Centre for Low Carbon Living examining the role of media and communication in shaping home renovation to help promote and embed sustainable practices in everyday life. Her work on environmental issues has appeared in research reports (e.g. ‘I’d just Google it’: media and home renovation practices in Australia’), and is also part of a forthcoming book Using Media for Social Innovation (with Ellie Rennie).
