Zerina Lokmic-Tomkins
Assoc. Prof Zerina Lokmic-Tomkins is a theme leader for Climate Change & Sustainable Healthcare at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Monash University. Her group uses principles of implementation science, health informatics and digital health to develop and evaluate climate change adaptation interventions to support the development of climate-resilient communities and environmentally sustainable healthcare services. Zerina's work is underpinned by advocacy through communicating climate change impacts on health as social justice issues focusing on a profound effect climate change has on the health of marginalised community groups, particularly women and children in socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and rural and regional areas.
