Remy Shergill

Remy is an emerging environmental change agent who is dedicated to improving climate literacy in Australia. She is the Project Manager of Changing Climates, a collaboration with Leader Newspapers to deliver climate information to 1.6 million Melbournians from March 2019. She originally joined MCCCRH as an intern working on the same project.

Remy is currently completing the Master of Environment and Sustainability at Monash University, specialising in Environmental Security and Leadership for Sustainable Development. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Sciences and Human Biology from Macquarie University, where she was a part of the gold-winning iGEM team in 2015.

Prior to joining Monash, Remy spent two years working in communications for the Australian Conservation Foundation, specialising in copy writing and digital production to engage and mobilise over half a million people on national environmental campaigns.
