Susan van de Meene
Susan is a social scientist, with an interdisciplinary background in human geography and environmental engineering. She has a strong interest in communicating her work on climate change and how it relates to cities, particularly the interrelation of different aspects of urban areas. Her research has investigated climate-related perspectives of urban water professionals, policy learning among cities in the C40 climate network and opportunities for realising urban co-benefits through climate mitigation policies. This research has drawn on theories of governance, collaboration, network learning amongst others and has led to publications in Global Environmental Change, Journal of Cleaner Productionand Policy Science. Susan has also published more broadly for industry through reports and industry magazines.
