The Faculty has recently implemented an exciting new technology, virtual reality, in order to showcase its facilities and the campus to prospective students, international representatives and career counsellors. A brand new Monash Virtual Reality hub was created at virtual-reality.monash showcasing 360 videos which allow prospects and influencers to immerse themselves in the MNHS and Monash world. Read more.
Fifty years of Medicine at Monash celebrated in style at the MCG
They travelled from as far as Kentucky in the United States to reconnect with peers, reminisce about the past and even play a game of trivia. More than half of the inaugural graduates from Monash’s School of Medicine joined 300 fellow MBBS graduates at the course’s 50th anniversary celebrations held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday, 26 November. Australia’s capacity to deliver innovative solutions to critical global health problems has been enhanced with the development of Monash University’s Biomedicine Discovery Institute which was officially opened last month by Prime Minister the Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP. Read more.
Meet Dr Catherine Crock
Discovering a passion for improving the healthcare experience for patients, families and staff has shaped the career of Dr Catherine Crock AM over the past two decades. An MBBS graduate of the 1981 class, Catherine began her career working in general medicine, haematology, paediatrics and adolescent health at a number of hospitals. Read more.
