Malignant Haematology & Stem Cell Transplantation Service

The MH & SCT Service at Alfred Health provides high-acuity malignant haematology services for a catchment of approximately two million Victorians. The service is one of two adult haemopoietic stem cell transplant (SCT) facilities in the state and undertakes both autologous and allogeneic SCT transplants including related-donor, unrelated-donor and cord blood allografting. The service has internationally recognised expertise in the treatment of multiple myeloma and acute myeloid leukaemia.
