Alfred Health Medical Electives Application Process

To apply for a Medical Elective at Alfred Health, you will need to submit the application form and ALL requested supporting documentation to the Elective Co-ordinator as outlined below.

Part A: Pre-Requisite Documentation

Please forward evidence and or completed copies of the following documents to Alfred.electives@monash.edu;

No Medical Electives will be processed if these pre-requisites are not provided and met.
Please note that the processing of your application may take up to 6 weeks

Part B: Acceptance of Offer & Payment

Once your application has been processed you will receive an email notification directing you complete the below Acceptance Form and to process your Application Fee Payment.

The Application Fee of AUD $770 will need to be processed via the below payment gateway. This fee is to cover the administrative costs of processing your elective request and is non refundable.

Please provide payment of the administration fee of AUD $770 via the Payment Gateway to secure your acceptance.

Part C: Finalisation

Once we have received your acceptance and related paymen,t a Letter of Offer will be emailed to you confirming your placement with Alfred Health. This letter will include all details regarding your Elective, including the confirmed start date and compulsory orientation, unit location and contact.
