The Department of Psychiatry welcomes enquiries from students who are interested in the areas of research conducted by the department. Please see links below for further information.
The Department of Psychiatry has a long track record of producing world class research with direct clinical translation. Our key goal is to conduct research aimed at developing new treatment avenues and new understanding with direct, effective, and immediate applications. Our research covers all ages across the lifespan and many different mental illnesses. We have a multidisciplinary team of researchers with diverse methodological skills who supervise research projects in the fields of clinical psychiatry, psychology, neurophysiology, biology, and health technologies.
Our student supervisor team continues to identify opportunities to improve students’ learning experience. We strive to create a warm, interactive space for which students can be challenged, learn, and discover.
