Scholarship of Application
Translation of research findings back into educational practice and policy
Through the scholarship of application, MCSHE hopes to translate research findings back into educational practice and policy. Our strategic objectives include:
- Identifying key HPER priorities across the Faculty based on multiple stakeholder needs (e.g. students, teachers, clinicians, employers, policy-makers, patients)
- Increasing the translation of HPER into educational policy and practice across the Faculty and beyond (i.e. at least nationally)
- Increasing the impact of HPER on policy/practice through increased collaboration with non-academic users of research such as industry, government, etc.
- Increasing HPER impact through alumni and media engagement
