MCSHE prides itself on good quality, research-informed teaching and teaching that informs educational research. We hope to achieve the this though the scholarship of teaching and the following strategic objectives:

  • Increasing capacity for HPER amongst Faculty members from different schools and departments and beyond
  • Increased provision of undergraduate supervision in HPER across the Faculty schools and departments
  • Contributing to the development of a health education short course strategy relevant to schools and departments across the Faculty, including our clinical partners
  • Increasing capacity for health education amongst our clinical partners
  • Improving teaching quality through the development and delivery of flexible research­‐informed courses on key topics aligned with strategic HPER priorities
  • Increasing collaboration between MCSHE core staff and Faculty members from diverse schools and departments to co‐develop and co-deliver research-informed health education courses
  • Increasing collaboration between MCHSE and industry partners in the development and delivery of health education courses locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Increasing income through health education courses from diverse streams
