MICCN brings together world-class researchers with cutting-edge research infrastructure from a range of disciplines and faculties. Our researchers are working towards advancement in areas of critical importance to well-being. We are achieving this through three integrated research programs:
In addition to these programs/research groups we have a number of specialist research groups including social neuroscience and connectomics.
This comprehensive research scheme is built on specialist expertise in characterising human behaviour, genetics and neurobiology. Making use of Monash University's state-of-the-art research platforms in imaging science, computational biology, genetics and clinical delivery, MICCN researchers develop integrated models of human disease that cover traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, neurodegeneration, mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.
