Jointly presented by Monash University’s Health and Social Care Unit and the University of Birmingham’s School of Social Policy, this is a wonderful opportunity for those working in the health and social care research space to hear perspectives from Australia and the UK, and engage in conversations with peers. Hear the latest from experts from both countries, and meet fellow academics with interest in this crucial field.

Chaired by Dr Darshini Ayton, the event will explore three key questions:

  • What is Health and Social Care? – Comparing Australian and UK perspectives
  • What is the state of health and social care research in Australia and the UK?
  • What is the future of health and social care for both countries?

This online event features rapid presentations and breakout room discussions, exploring the current state and future direction of health and social care in both countries. You’ll hear from some the best and brightest in health and social care leadership, implementation science, policy, program design and evaluation, co-design methodologies, and health systems.
