Do we need to reinvent the wheel?

There are gaps with what we are teaching paramedics - the competency frameworks may not always reflect the practice. Are we teaching paramedics what they need to know? Episode #8 of our paramedicine podcast is now available.

In this episode we are thrilled to speak with Alan Batt. Alan is a certified Paramedic in Ireland, the UK, and Ontario. Alan is the research lead for the Paramedic Programs at Fanshawe College, a senior Fellow in the McNally Project for Paramedicine research, editor of the Irish Journal of Paramedicine and a PhD candidate at the Department of Paramedicine, Monash University.  Alan chats with us about an article he has recently co-authored titled “the development of competency frameworks in healthcare professions: a scoping review.”
