Lupus Victoria’s 3rd Annual ‘Legends for Lupus’ Golf Day was held on Friday 26 March 2021 on the Legends course at Moonah Links, at Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula. More than 80 people participated in the event and the fund raiser was greatly supported by donations to the Kim Jolly Lupus Research Fund which is held in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health (SCS) and used by SCS researchers. The Ambrose event was a fun day. Weather was perfect for golf, company was great and the amount raised was outstanding.

Lupus Victoria is pleased to report that $24,368 was raised from the event. This figure includes direct donations to the Kim Jolly Lupus Research Fund from 1 January to 30 April 2021. This outstanding result was achieved despite having to postpone the event from October 2020 to March 2021. Thanks to players, sponsors and donors for enabling Lupus Victoria to achieve this outstanding result.

The Kim Jolly Lupus Research Fund has supported lupus research at Monash University for over a decade. These funds have supported the growth of Monash lupus research infrastructure, including the largest database of clinical information on lupus in Australia. The 4th Annual ‘Legends for Lupus’ Golf Day will be held on Monday 28 February 2022, at Moonah Links. Please save the day. We look forward to your continuing support of the event to ensure that the day will be even bigger and better in 2022.
