Funding grant to help explore childhood onset lupus in adults

Congratulations to Associate Professor Alberta Hoi who has received $36,000 as part of the Perpetual's 2022 IMPACT Philanthropy Program.

A/Prof Hoi, a researcher in the Rheumatology Group hopes to explore the outcomes of lupus patients who had their illness onset since childhood. The study will provide information on disease course, treatment exposure and effects on quality of life of these patients.
