Congratulations to Ms Natasha Borash who has received the title of Best Undergraduate Flash Talk at this year's Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR) Symposium.

The research Ms Borash, a Honours student in the Endometrial Stem Cell Biology Research Group is pioneering, hopes to find a protein biomarker that is sensitive and specific for Endometriosis, which will decrease the diagnostic delay experienced and improve outcomes for women with endometriosis.

“I am very honoured to receive this reward and hope it provokes an interest in the research field of Endometriosis. It has long been a forgotten women's problem and I am grateful it is being given the recognition it deserves,” Ms Borash said.
